Lies of P - Endings Guide

This guide will pinpoint all moments which are affecting the endings. There are 3 endings, and for all 3 of them you mostly need to tell Lies or Truths during the game in order to get the options at the end that will lead you towards the desired ending. You can't get all 3 in 1 playthrough, so the best way to start is to do the all lies playthrough and the truth playthrough in NG+.

You can still say 1-2 truths during your lie playthrough or vise-versa. I told the truth once in my first playthough and I still got the 2 lie endings without any issues. If you follow my chapter collectibles topics, you will get all of this there, but this guide serves like a short overview.

Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard (Chapter 2)

At the end of the Weeping Woman sidequest. Lie playthrough: "That’s a cute baby", Truth playthrough: "That’s just a puppet".

St. Frangelico Cathedral Library (Chapter 4)

When you meet Alidoro. Lie playthrough: "Venigni Works". If you send him to Venigni Works, you can find him at Workshop Union Entrance stargazer (up the stairs, inside the room on the left after defeating Fallen Archbishop Andreus). If you’ve lied to him the first time, you can lie to him again at Venigni Works by sending him to Elysion Boulevard or you can redeem yourself by sending him to Hotel Krat. If you lie again, he will eventually come to Hotel Krat on its own. Truth playthrough: "Hotel Krat".

Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert (Chapter 6)

Complete Julian the Gentleman request. Lie playthrough: "I saw the message she left, saying she loves you", Truth playthrough: "I’ve never seen that happen before"

Hotel Krat (Chapter 6)

After defeating the King of Puppets, talk to Antonia. Lie playthrough: "Of course", Truth playthrough: "There’s nothing left"

After talking to Antonia, talk to Polendina near the fountain outside. Lie playthrough: "There’s no such a Puppet", Truth plauthrough: "I have"

Grand Exhibition Conference Room (Chapter 7)

After defeating Champion Victor you will have a talk with Simon Manus. Lie playthrough: "Monsters", Truth playthrough: "Hope for a cure"

Hotel Krat (Chapter 9)

After defeating Corrupted Parade Master, talk to Belle to start her request. At the end of the quest talk to Belle. Lie playthrough: "He was killed in battle", Truth playthrough: "He’s become a monster"

Hotel Krat (Chapter 10)

After defeating the Black Rabbit Brotherhood at Relic of Trsimegistus Combat Field, return to Hotel Krat and talk to Venigni. Lie playthrough: "I couldn’t hear", Truth playthrough: "Geppetto caused the Puppet Frenzy"

After Venigni decipher Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel (you need to kill Alidoro) read the whole decyphered message, and then talk to Eugenie. Lie playthrough: "I think he just was a talented Stalker", Truth playthrough: "He was Eugénie’s older brother"

Arche Abbey Outer Wall (Chapter 11)

After opening the last Trinity Sanctum and you talk to Arlecchino inside. Lie playthrough: "Human", Truth playthrough: "Puppet"

Ascension Bridge (Chapter 11)

After defeating Laxasia The Complete, talk to Sophia in the next room. Lie playthrough: "Give her peace", Truth playthrough: "Let her live"

Arche Abbey Upper Part - Internal Bridge (Chapter 11)

After finding Geppetto in the prison cell. Lie playthrough: "Yes", Truth playthrough: "No"

Arche Abbey Cradle of the God (Chapter 11)

After defeating Simon Manus Awakened God, you must tell him what you did with Sophia. If you gave her piece, say "I gave her peace" to say the truth, if you went with the other option say "I liberated her from Arche Abbey". To say the lie, say the opposite of what you did with her.

Endings

SAVE BACKUP - Backup your save to the cloud save if you want to unlock 2 endings in 1 playthrough. When you ride the elevator down, touch the Stargazer and backup the save

Real Boy ending (The Story of One Father trophy) - Talk to Geppetto and say "Give the Heart" to unlockin this ending. After the credits press Circle button (DO NOT ACCEPT) to go back to hotel. Go to Geppetto’s Study and read the letters.

Pianist of Krat trophy - Interract with the piano downstair to unlock another trophy

DOWNLOAD SAVE FROM BACKUP

Golden Lie Special Weapon - Download save from the backup, so before talking to Geppetto. Go to Geppetto’s Study and inspect the photo to get the weapon if you lied enough. If the nose is not long enough, listen to Records without interrupting to grow it enough so you can pick it up

Rise of P Ending Start - Talk to Geppetto and say "Refuse" to start a fight against Nameless Puppet

Noblesse Oblige & Proof of Humanity Special Weapons - Exchange the last 2 boss souls to get the last 2 boss weapons and thus unlock the Special Weapon Collector trophy

The Story of the Blue Butterfly trophy - Visit Geppetto’s Study and read the letter on his table to unlock this trophy

The Letter of the Eternal - Visit Giangio to find his letter. You can now start the NG+ and focus on the remaining Records and the last ending!

How to get Free from the Puppet String Ending

Start NG+ from the Stargazer at Hotel Krat. During this playthrough, do the opposite from the first playthrough by always choosing the Truth answers, and note that King of Riddles’ riddles don’t count.

Don’t give Sophia peace during Chapter 11, select the other answer and make sure you tell Simon the truth the end of the game. This actually means that you need to answer "I liberated her from Arche Abbey" no matter if you've told the lie or the truth to Sophia.

“Refuse” to give Geppetto the heart later after you go down the elevator. You will unlock "Free from the Puppet String " ending, and Geppeto will tell you "You’re just a puppet". And that is it!
