Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes - Character Recruitment Guide

In this guide we will try to help you find all 120 stars of destiny! 

The first moment when recruiting becomes available is at Eltisweiss, 6 months after the initial events in the game. Eltisweiss is in Grum County, and for the story purposes you will have to recruit a couple of party members for your Watch.

Iugo (Story-related)

In Eltisweiss, enter the bar which is on the eastern side in the middle of the road connecting north and south parts of the town. Simply talk to Iugo, a samurai, and he will join the party.

Mellore (Story-related)

Try to leave Eltisweiss and you will witness a scene with her. You need to leave, and enter Redthroat Ridge on the east side of Grum County on the map. After some scenes there, reach the end of this dungeon and beat the boss. After that, Mellore is yours.

Kuroto (Story-related)

Enter Altverden Village (first village to the west of Eltisweiss), and go west following the lower path. Hugo is there, and he asks of you to defeat 3 wild boars in Redthroat Ridge. You may have already been there if you've recruited Mellore, so simply talk to him if you did to recruit him. If not, go there (eastern dungeon in Grum County) and defeat 3 boards, then talk to him.

Francesca (Story-related)

Enter Altverden Village (first village to the west of Eltisweiss), and go west following the northern, upper path. After some interesting scenes with here, ask her to join and she will join. Simple as that.

Yume

Enter Werne Village (first village to the north-west of Eltisweiss), and talk to the old lady near the entrance (first street west). Go to Redthroat Ridge and follow the path until you find Yume and her friend. Ask them to join and they will join. You can return to Werne to get an extra conversation with the old lady if you want.

Yusuke

Enter Fort Xialuke (north on the Grum County map) and you will witness a scene. Answer with "He's not the culprit", and "Welcome to the ranks" and he will join.

Huang

Talk to him in Arenside to start the recruitment (he is near the bridge on the southwestern side of the town). On your first visit he will give you Bamboo Rod for fishing. More details coming soon...

Hiro

Talk to him in Abandoned Mines in the area with platforms and 3 floors. At first, he will just sell you some items. You will recruit him a bit later. More details coming soon...

Gigina

You can find him in Arenside when you need to cross Mountain Path Homeward and reach your village for story purposes. He is just west of the entrance, simply talk to him and ask him to join.

Sabine (Story-related)

She will join during the story events in Eltisweiss, after you return from Kyshiri Village.

Ymir (Story-related)

Joins during the story events in Eltisweiss, after you return from Kyshiri Village, and after the first battle of your units on the map.

Sumire (Story-related)

Joins during the story events in Eltisweiss, after you return from Kyshiri Village, and after the first battle of your units on the map.

Cassandra (Story-related)

Joins during the story events in Eltisweiss, after you return from Kyshiri Village, and after the first battle of your units on the map.

Kogen (Story-related)

Joins during the story events in Eltisweiss, after you return from Kyshiri Village, and after the first battle of your units on the map.

Yuthus (Story-related)

Joins during the story events in Eltisweiss, after you return from Kyshiri Village, and after the first battle of your units on the map.

Zabi (Story-related)

Joins during the story events in Eltisweiss, after you return from Kyshiri Village, and after the first battle of your units on the map.

Gocteau (Story-related)

Joins during the story events in your HQ.

Iris (Story-related)

Joins during the story events in your HQ.

Caine (Story-related)

Joins during the story events in your HQ.

Martha

In your HQ, go east from the Inn building in town and find here standing there. Talk to her to recruit her.

Wyler

Talk to him in Bounty Hill (area reached from your map outside of your HQ). You will need to find Marin, his little sister. Agree to help. You need to witness 3 scenes in this area; simply follow the path (most of the dungeon is blocked on your first visit) and you will trigger some scenes. Win a fight at the end and Wyler joins.

Marin

Joins with Wyler.

Kerrin (Story-related)

Enter Dappled Forest (area reached from your map outside of your HQ) - Talk to her near the house east, and find 20 Lumbers from the harvest points in this area. Return to her and she joins.

Kallathor (Story-related)

After returning back with couple of new allies to your HQ, exit the main building and go south to trigger a scene. You will have to aid Kallathor through The Greatwood and he will join your party.
