Persona 3 Reload - Month 08 Walkthrough

Welcome to the fifth month of Persona 3! The idea of the guide is to point you what to do on every given date to get most out of it. By following this guide you should unlock all trophies and needed stuff to complete 100% of the game.

During this month you will unlock a couple of new bonds, reach Tartarus floor 92, rescue 2 missing persons, and reach your first max social link level.

8/1 Saturday

  • Evening
    • Paulownia Mall - Hang out with Tanaka. Make sure you have Devil persona on your deck, such as Mokoi (Answer with option 2, 1) (Devil Rank 7)

8/2 Sunday

  • Evening
    • Go to Iwatodai Strip Mall 2F and eat "Seafood Full Course" at Wakatsu Kitchen for 900 Yen. Academics ++

8/3 Monday

  • Daytime
    • Naganaki Shrine - Hang out with Maiko. Make sure you have some Hanged persona, like Inugami (Answer with option Any, Any) (Hanged Man Rank 7)
  • Evening
    • Elizabeth’s Request 43 (I've already mentioned this, but this is the last time you can do it) - Start the request, talk to Fuuka in Student Dormitory to obtain Christmas Star, and complete the request. (Missable)
    • Go to Club Escapade and get a Fortune Reading (Rarity Fortune). (Optional)
    • Head to Tartarus.
  • Dark Hour
    • Reach Level 31, you will need to be at that level.
    • Use Theurgy skill with Aigis.
    • Rescue the 2 Missing Persons during your time in dungeon (Floor 79, 84). (Optional)
    • Elizabeth's Request 32 - Open 150 Treasure Chests (I've completed this at this point).
    • Elizabeth's Request 36 - By defeating Supreme Hand, you will get a Rustic Coin (hopefully). They appear on floors 70-90, and they are the higher version of the basic golden hand rare enemies.
    • Reach Floor 92.
    • There is a chest at the deepest point of the Monad Passage on Floor 91F. Open it to unlock Beyond the Darkness trophy after defeating 2 optional boss fights along the way. They are a bit hard, so prepare.
    • Elizabeth's Request 30 - Report after opening the chest on floor 92 where you will find the Old Document 04.
    • Elizabeth's Request 37 - Report to Elizabeth for travering the Monad Passage from the point above.
    • As usual, have at least 100,000 Yen after selling materials tomorrow.

8/4 Tuesday

  • Daytime
    • As usual, sell all of your materials and make sure you have more than 100,000 Yen. If not, reload your Tartarus save and farm more.
    • Collect your reward at the Police Station for missing persons. (Optional)
    • Hang out with Yuko, you can accept her invite via your phone. Make sure to have Strength persona on your deck, such as Rakshasa (Answer with option 3)
  • Evening
    • Paulownia Mall - Hang out with Tanaka. Make sure you have Devil persona on your deck, such as Mokoi (Answer with option 2) (Devil Rank 8)

8/5 Wednesday

  • Daytime
    • Iwatodai Strip Mall - Hang out with Mamoru. You can prepare with having a Star persona, such as Setanta, but for this rank you don't need it (Star Rank 1)
  • Evening
    • Go to Paulownia Mall, Game Parade Arcade place and choose to play "You’re the Answer" for 3000 Yen. Academics ++

8/6 Thursday

  • Dark Hour
    • 21M area: Collect the Twilight Fragment at the dead end on the left side of the main road (Optional)
    • 33M area: Collect the Twilight Fragment in the little opening on your left after entering the area (Optional)
    • Mandatory Story Battle.

8/7 Friday

  • Daytime
    • Iwatodai Strip Mall - Hang out with Mamoru. You can prepare with having a Star persona, such as Setanta (Answer with option 2, 2) (Star Rank 2)
  • Evening
    • Go to Iwatodai Strip Mall 2F and eat "Seafood Full Course" at Wakatsu Kitchen for 900 Yen. Academics ++
  • Dark Hour
    • Story Event. (Death Rank 5)

8/8 Saturday

  • Daytime
    • Naganaki Shrine - Hang out with Maiko. Make sure you have some Hanged persona, like Inugami.
  • Evening
    • Paulownia Mall - Hang out with Tanaka. Make sure you have Devil persona on your deck, such as Mokoi (Answer with option 1) (Devil Rank 9)

8/9 Sunday

  • Daytime
    • Student Dormitory, Your Room. Interract with your TV for Tanaka's Amazing Commodities shop - Buy "Isotope Soda" set for 3980 Yen (Optional)
    • Hang out with Junpei, you can answer via your phone (Linked Episode 2)
  • Evening
    • Go to Iwatodai Strip Mall 2F and eat "Seafood Full Course" at Wakatsu Kitchen for 900 Yen. Academics ++

8/10 Monday – 8/14 Friday

  • Daytime
    • Summer School. (Academics Rank 5)

8/15 Saturday

  • Daytime
    • Summer School.
  • Evening
    • Paulownia Mall - Hang out with Tanaka. (Devil Rank 10). Trophy Unbreakable Link will be unlocked at this point, considering this your max bound with your first bond.

8/16 Sunday

  • Daytime
    • Go to the Shrine, choose anyone (I went with Mitsuru).

8/17 Monday

  • Daytime
    • Student Dormitory, Your Room. Interract with your TV for Tanaka's Amazing Commodities shop - Buy "Curse Paper" set for 3980 Yen (Optional)
    • Naganaki Shrine - Hang out with Maiko. Make sure you have some Hanged persona, like Inugami (Answer with option 1, 1, 1) (Hanged Man Rank 8)
  • Evening
    • Student Dormitory, 1F Lounge - Watch TV with Koromaru. Academics +

8/18 Tuesday

  • Daytime
    • Hang out with Nozomi, you can accept his invite via your phone.
  • Evening
    • Go to your room and study. Academics +

8/19 Wednesday

  • Daytime
    • Iwatodai Strip Mall - Hang out with Mamoru. You can prepare with having a Star persona, such as Setanta (Answer with option 1, 1) (Star Rank 3)
  • Evening
    • Go to Paulownia Mall, Game Parade Arcade place and choose to play "You’re the Answer" for 3000 Yen. Academics ++

8/20 Thursday

  • Daytime
    • Elizabeth's Request 9 - Purchase all the drinks available at all 4 vending machines: Two in Student Dormitory (upstairs), one in Port Island Station, and one in the Strip Mall.
    • Elizabeth's Request 25 - Have Mitras persona at level 26. If you fuse, with the social levels at this point you should easily get him to this level by just fusing one.
    • Elizabeth's Request 35 - At this point I had Baphomet with Agilao so I've fused him with Legion to get Mothman with Agilao
    • Elizabeth's Request 51 - Bring back Outenta Mitsuyo, a sword that you can craft at Mayoido Antiques at Paulownia Mall if you have Nihil Blade Material and 5 Black Quartz
    • Elizabeth's Request 54 - Start praying at the Nagasaki Shrine (Monetary Offering - just inspect it on 3 separate days, do not spend time giving money). Part 1
    • Elizabeth's Request 55 - With Nozomi maxed out, you can finish this request.
    • Elizabeth's Request 58 -Accept, talk to the man in the Port Island Station Outskirts, then the man at the Port Island Station. Lastly, talk to the kid at Iwatiodai Strip Mall and report back to Elizabeth to complete the Request. (Missable)
    • Elizabeth's Request 78 - Ask her out to finish this one. This gives you Book of the Ancients that unlock Thoth special fusion persona
    • At Iwatodai Strip Mall, hang out with The Elderly Couple. Make sure you have a Hierophant persona on your deck for more points, like Berith.
  • Evening
    • Go to Iwatodai Strip Mall 2F and eat "Seafood Full Course" at Wakatsu Kitchen for 900 Yen. Academics ++

8/21 Friday

  • Daytime
    • Elizabeth's Request 54 - Praying at the Nagasaki Shrine (Monetary Offering). Part 2
    • Iwatodai Strip Mall - Hang out with Mamoru. You can prepare with having a Star persona, such as Setanta (Answer with option 1, 1, 2) (Star Rank 4)
  • Evening
    • Go to Iwatodai Strip Mall 2F and eat "Seafood Full Course" at Wakatsu Kitchen for 900 Yen. Academics ++

8/22 Saturday

  • Daytime
    • Elizabeth's Request 54 - Praying at the Nagasaki Shrine (Monetary Offering). Return to Elizabeth for the reward. Part 3
    • Elizabeth's Request 67 - Accept it, go to Port Island Outskirts, enter Mahjon Parlour (up the stairs to the north), answer with Rock for example and you will get a Mahjong Tile. Return to Elizabeth.
    • Student Dormitory, Front Entrance - Hang out with Koromaru. (Linked Episode 1)
  • Evening
    • Go to Paulownia Mall, Game Parade Arcade place and choose to play "You’re the Answer" for 3000 Yen. Academics ++

8/23 Sunday

  • Daytime
    • Student Dormitory, Your Room. Interract with your TV for Tanaka's Amazing Commodities shop - Buy "Soul Spinach Sprout" set for 2980 Yen (Optional)
    • Naganaki Shrine - Talk to the Thin Young Man on the bench.  Head back to Student Dormitory 1F Lounge and move Koromaru’s Paw to obtain the Red Fountain Pen. Take the pen back. (Sun Rank 1)
  • Evening
    • Go to Iwatodai Strip Mall 2F and eat "Seafood Full Course" at Wakatsu Kitchen for 900 Yen. Academics ++

8/24 Monday

  • Daytime

    • Student Dormitory, 2F Hallway - Talk to Fuuka and read with her. Academics +. You will unlock Through Thick and Thin trophy!

    • Go to Iwatodai Strip Mall 2F and eat "Seafood Full Course" at Wakatsu Kitchen for 900 Yen. Academics ++

8/31 Monday

  • Daytime
