Izuhara

The Legend of Tadayori

Unlocks: Simpy find it on the map, oh hear about it as a rumor from random peasants.

Your first mythic tale can be tackled as soon as you can travel on the map. Simply visit the location from this video and start this quest. You will need to find the few locations - mostly easy to find. The fights are easy as well, so I removed them from the video.

2:25 - Location from the map
5:48 - Azamo Bay
6:26 - Kill the bandits to get Tadayori's Armour
7:50 - Defend the musician to finish the quest

The Heavenly Strike

Unlocks: Complete "Hammer and Forge" main story mission first, then find it on the map

The Heavenly Strike Mystic Tale is yet another similar tale where you need to follow some tracks, reschue hostages and at the end, win the duel. This video will guide you through the steps.

0:31 - Find the lady under the bridge and follow the tracks
2:41 - Kill the Mongols and inspect the watchtower
3:35 - Climb to the top of the Shrine and survey for the white flower trees
7:48 - Kill the Mongols and rescue the hostage
7:55 - Travel to Shinagori's Rest
10:07 - Kill the Mongols there and win the duel

The Curse of Uchitsune

Unlocks: Complete "The Tale of Lady Masako" main story quest first, then find it on the map.

This Mythic tale will take you across the blue flower fields. Basicaly, you need to follow them 3 times and find the secret caves and finally win the duel.

0:33 - Follow the blue flowers (find the map in the cave)
1:18 - Lave the cave
1:43 - Search Hiyoshi for the island (follow the blue flower again)
6:03 - Follow the blue flower (find the final location and win the duel)

Totoyama

The Unbreakable Gosaku

Unlocks: Complete "A New Horizon" main story quest, then find it on the map.

The Unbreakable Gosaku is your first long mythic tale. After initiating the quest, you will need to find 6 keys which you can find on the first and second region. Just make sure you are at least after "A New Dawn" story as that will open those camps. The rest is easy.

0:44 - 1st Camp (First Key Location) - Rescues all the hostages
1:26 - 2nd Camp (Second Key Location) - Rescues all the hostages
2:08 - 3rd Camp (Third Key Location) - Rescues all the hostages
2:40 - 4th Camp (Fourth Key Location) - Rescues all the hostages
3:25 - 5th Camp (Fifth Key Location) - Rescues all the hostages
4:01 - 6th Camp (Sixth Key Location) - Rescues all the hostages
4:37 - Follow the pointer, defeat the Mongols and climb to the top of the crypt you will unlock where you will get Gosaku's Armour

The Spirit Of Yarikawa's Vengeance

Unlocks: Complete "A New Horizon" main story quest, then find it on the map.

The Spirit Of Yarikawa's Vengeance is found in the second region and requires you to find 4 smoke locations and some events after each one. It will finish with the duel which will unlock Dance of Wratch Mythic skill.

7:32 - Last Smoke location and solution
8:40 - Duel and Dance Of Wrath Mythic skill

The Six Blades of Kojiro

Unlocks: Complete "A New Horizon" main story quest, then find it on the map.

While following the quest in the Umugi Cove, you will have to speak with Sanjo when you arrive there. This will unlock this Mythic tale. The Six Blades Of Kojiro is one cool quest. I love the duels and you have 6 of them in this quest. First you will need to find 5 of those in the second region and then there is one final to be found.

3:10 - Duel with Tomotsugu
4:58 - Duel with Hirotsune
6:21 - Duel with Kiyochika
8:08 - Duel with Kanetomo
9:35 - Go back and speak with the quest initiator
10:00 - Find the last duel with Kojiro and you will get the Kensei Armour for winning

Kamiagata

The Undying Flame

Unlocks: After liberating the "Kawachi Whaling Village", hear about it from the peasant in that village or simply by finding the location on the map.

The Undying Flame is your last special quest. This one will make you climb the montain and use the fires to survive the cold. At the top you will unlock your last Mythic skill and if this is your last tale you will also get Teller of Tales Trophy.

1:51 - Second fire
2:20 - Third fire
2:57 - Forth fire
3:58 - Fifth fire
5:02 - 6th fire
5:37 - Duel at the top (you will learn Way of the Flame Mythic skill)
7:25 - Descent down and finish the quest. If this is our last Mystic tale, you will also unlock Teller of Tales Trophy
