Final Fantasy VII Rebirth - Fiend Investigation Challenges

This topic will help you beat all requirements for all Fiend and Classified Fiend investigations/challenges in the game.

You can reveal all Fiend (Combat) Challenges Intel by completing Activation Intel: Towers in each region. This is the best and the easiest way to see everything on the map. By completing all Expedition Intels in each region you will unlock a special type of fiend - a Classified Foe. They are like a mini-boss challenges and they usually drop rate items used for crafting or quests.

Details

Grasslands Region

• Fiend Challenge #1 Progress the story until you unlock the Fiend challenges. For the first one, inflict
  Blizzard type of spells to pressure the enemy, and avoid being poisoned.
• Fiend Challenge #2 Preasure them with Fire type of spells, and just try to stagger and complet under 
  the given time limit.
• Fiend Challenge #3 Preasure them with Fire type of spells when they are wrapped in blue, and Blizzard type
  of spells when wrapped in fire.- Stagger and complet under the given time limit.
• Fiend Challenge #4 Pretty easy one - you can retry the challenge and complete in chunks. The worste 
  part will be the staggering, but it shouldn’t be a big problem.
• Fiend Challenge #5 Fire and Blizzard will help you pressure them, or simply being aggresive. Stagger and defeat.
• Fiend Challenge #6 You can poison them to pressure them, then just stagger and defeat.
• Classified Foe: Quetzalcoatl (Drops Quetzalcoatl talon) Classified Foe: Quetzalcoatl (Quetzalcoatl talon) - Pressure him with Blizzard type of 
  spells. To unlock this Foe, complete all Expedition Intels in this region

Junon Region

• Fiend Challenge #1 Pressure him with Aero type of spells and dodge the attack he will perform after hitting 
  him
• Fiend Challenge #2 Pressure them by hitting them with ATB or Synergy skills while they're about to take of. You need to stop them from doing that anyway. Blizzard also works
• Fiend Challenge #3 Pressure them by hitting them with Blizzard
• Fiend Challenge #4 Aero (Wind) type of spells pressure them.
• Classified Foe: Mindflayer (Drops Mindflayer Crown) (Drops Mindflayer Crown) - Use Synergy Abilities to pressure him. Or just use your 
  ATB skills to win the fight

Corel Region

• Fiend Challenge #1 Fire type of spells pressure them.
• Fiend Challenge #2 Blizzard type of spells pressure them, or avoiding their Leech attack
• Fiend Challenge #3 Fire type of spells pressure them. Also, avoid their stun attack to complete the 
  challenge
• Fiend Challenge #4 They are weak to Blizzard, so you can use that, plus Focused ATB skills to pressure 
  them. Don't let me eat you when they jump
• Fiend Challenge #5 Pressure them by attacking them when they jump to the surface from the sand
• Fiend Challenge #6 Their weakness is fire, and they get pressured after using their beam attack
• Classified Foe: Tonberry King (Steal Pristine Crown, drops Tonberry King's Robe) Equip Steal materia and after pressuring Tonberry, steal the 
  crown from the floor. You may want to protect yourself from instant death

Gongaga Region

• Fiend Challenge #1 Avoid being turned into a frog, and the rest should be easy
• Fiend Challenge #2 Be fast, use fire and do not let them evolve
• Fiend Challenge #3 Attack with fire when they're guarding or counterattacking to pressure them
• Fiend Challenge #4 Keep using Focused Thrust ATB Skill when they're using strong attack to pressure 
  them
• Fiend Challenge #5 Use ATB Skills and Fire spells when he is using Concentrate to pressure him
• Fiend Challenge #6 Use ATB Skills when they use Ambush to pressure them
• Classified Foe: Great Malboro (Drops Great Malboro Tendril) When he is about to use Bad Breath, keep attacking his 
  mouth part to pressure him. Blizzard is his weakness

Cosmo Canyon Region

• Fiend Challenge #1 Don't get petrified and use Blizzard as their weakness. ATB skills also works good
• Fiend Challenge #2 Stagger them by simply attacking or using ATB skills to fill your limit and use it
• Fiend Challenge #3 Attack it with Thunder to exploit its weakness, and to stagger simply attack after its 
  hurling wind charge attack
• Fiend Challenge #4 Use Blizzard to pressure them and cancel their attacks
• Fiend Challenge #5 Use Thunder to pressure them after they appear from hidding
• Fiend Challenge #6 He is weak against wind. Pressure him by letting him attack to deplete his energy
• Classified Foe: Jabberwock (Drops Jabberwock horn) Inflict Fire when his Great shield is up to lower it down and 
  pressure him.

Nibel Region

• Fiend Challenge #1 Guarding, or attacking with ATB skills while wolfs are pulsing blue will pressure them
• Fiend Challenge #2 To pressure them, attack with their weakness - Blizzard
• Fiend Challenge #3 To pressure him, attack with his weakness - Blizzard
• Fiend Challenge #4 Destroy his jaw when he is attacking with Petrifying Mist attack
• Classified Foe: King Zu (Drops King Zu Feather) You can use Wind against him. When he is about to land his special, destroy both of his wings to pressure him and have a chance
