Chapter 3

Substory 01 - Can-Do Attitude

You will get that automatically. You just need to collect target cans and that will finish the substory.

Substory 04 - One Man's Trash...

After trying to get a job in Hello Work, go in front of the blue door on Misaki St. This will trigger the quest. Now, explore the town a bit and you will see that blue substory mark is showing on the map where you started the quest. Go back there and talk to 2 people arguing. You can choose the next answer as you see fit:

I'll help you clean, too. - Kindness +10
How much you want for all of it? - Passion +20
Your wife's probably turning in her grave. Mental +10

You can select Buy and now beat Gomi to finish the quest. You will get the Flame Amulet. Gomi will also open his Pawn Shop where you can buy and sell items.

Substory 03 - A Golden Opportunity

After trying to get a job in Hello Work, go on the S. Sakura River St. and talk to the lady and officer to trigger it. Again, speak with the officer for more info. Now, explore the town a bit and you will see that blue substory mark is showing on the map norteast from the S. Sakura River St. (towads the blue door with the garbage outside). The correct answer is "Guy Second from the Right" - 3rd choice. Beat the guy to finish the quest. You will get Binding.

Substory 40 - Welcome to Dragon Kart!

You will probably initiate this a bit later in the game as the enemies in this park are a bit tough (and on the way here). Legendary Fujisawa is here again! Beat the race (mario kart ripoff hehe) and you will learn about your opponents. This will unlock the Dragon Kart mini-game and finish the quest.

Chapter 4

Substory 06 - It's the Thoughts that counts

After you take the Hero's Bat at the start of the chapter, approach S. Sakura River St. Talk to the marked people to initiate the quest. Speak with the old guy again to continue with the quest. Now find him again at the E Central St. and you can answer with following:

Latest game Console - Fashionable +10
Handmade Goods - Kindness +10
Me - Cheerful +10

Now you need some wood and nails. Wood is close to the Bar District on the northwestern part of the map. Nails are south at the Central St. Now go back to S. Sakura River St. for a scene and then go E Central St. Back to S. Sakura River St., win a fight and you will get Sacrifice Stone

Substory 02 - Who's That Sujimon

When your main mission story is "Go to Otohime Land", navigate to the pointer and you will start the substory automaticaly. First, beat the Degenerate (I've loughed my ass out on this one). You will end up in Sujimon Sensei clinic. Pick either option, beat the enemies and you will unlock Sujidex which is your enemy encyclopedia. With this, you will finish the substory.

Substory 10 - Fast Times at Onuabara

A bit later in the chapter, you will find this one marked on the map on the Daikokuten St. Approach it to start the quest. Choose any option here. You will end up in the exam hall and here speak with the girl at the reception. Take the Sports Tier 2 exam. I will list some answers here, but they can be random:

Skiing - Poles
Baseball - Volley
Marathon - Battle of Marathon
Triathlon - Cross Country
Golf - Albatross
Car race - Drift driving
Football - Handling
Basketball - 3 points
Bowling - Pin

I had 3/5 here and I've passed the exam. You will get Passion and Charisma +30.ž

Substory 05 - A Trip to Pound Town

This one will be just next to the main story pointer later in this chapter. Approach Ohama St. to start it. I think this one is even automatic-unlock. Beat the enemies and you will unlock Poundmates (sort of like summons in RPG games) and this will finish the substory.

Substory 09 - Persimmon Permonition

Later in the chapter, find this one left of Bar District (northwest part of the map). Approach the part to start the quest. Now, move a bit away from this spot and that will trigger the next part of the quest (you will know by checking the map - if it shows the blue message icon, you can go back, otherwise run away from the starting point). Go back and talk with the Tired Man. Again, move away and go back. Beat Sumo Wrestler. Repeat last 2 steps and this time beat Sniper Assailant. Repeat again and this time beat the School Man. Again, go further, back and this will trigger the last scene. You will expand your Poundmasters with Tosanoyama.

Substory 07 - Baby Don't Cry

This one will be just next to the main story pointer later in this chapter. Approach the guy with baby powder at Ohama St. Helo out the guy and beat enemies. "Have a heart-to-heart with your wife" is the correct answer and it will raise Kindness + 10. No to go N Isezaki Road and talk to the girl behind the counter. Find the guy back at the initial location. Win the fights and you can choose your answer:

Drink milk - Passion +20
Don't drink milk - Kindness +10

Your Poundmates will be expanded with Patriarch Gondawara.

Chapter 5

Substory 19 - Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble

Initiate it by going east of Romance Street (southeast part of the map). You will need to take the bubble guy to the store. Simply run and avoid water that is being thrown by citizents. When you get to the shop, woman will come out at some point. Asnwer with "It's a long story." for Passion + 10. Navigate to the initial point where you started the quest to finish it.

Substory 16 - The Crawfish Caper

Initiate it by going to the Sunrise Bridge. You will need to find a crab you tossed in the river. Move to Sunrise St. marked on the map. The correct crab is the one with X mark on his back, that one is behind you (behing from starting location) and next to the river and garbage in the corner (left corner when you are facing stairs). Back to starting quest point. Now you need to buy Premium Sushi Set from the Poppo store at the Jinnai Station. Go there, buy it for 2000 Yen and return back to Ebihara to finish this. You will get a new Poundmaster - Nancy the Crab!

Substory 17 - A Love Worth Fighting For

Initiate it by going to Tsurukame Bridge, corner with the homeless and the girl giving out the food. Beat the Homeless man. Now move a bit away from this stop and keep checking the map until blue message icon appears at the same spot where you initiated the quest. You can go there now to continu, speak with Kuroi, then with the girl and again with Kuroi. Again move a bit furhter and back for another part of the quest. You can answer with "Clothes" for Fashion + 10. Find Kuroi handing tissues at Jinnai Station, then go back to the starting point and talk to him again.

Next part can be done during the day. Do story in this chapter until it's day and you can continue then.

During the day, visit the usual spot where Kuroi stand, talk to him and suggest "The Theater" for Style +10. Now again, you need to wait until the story progress into the night-time.

During the night-time, visit Kuroi at the Tsurukame Highway. Beat the other guy and that is it. You will get Kiyoe Shirakawa as your next Poundmate.

Substory 12 - How to be a Part-time Hero

This is unlocked automatically during the story. Win in 2 fights. You will learn about this mini-game and what you can collect. Part-time Hero will be unlocked in your phone menu as well.

Substory 13 - Nowhere to Go but Up

This is unlocked automatically during the story. You will visit Sumire's garage where you can upgrade and craft weapons/armors (Romance Workshop).

Substory 15 - Ijicho's Safety Net

This is unlocked automatically during the story. You will learn how to run a business and unlock this part of the game as well.

Substory 18 - Home Run Heroism

This is unlocked by observing the crowd north of Tsurukame Bridge. Now go to Hamakaze St. for a scene with Anzai. Back to initial location and speak with Kudo. Now go to corner of E. Central St. Defeat the enemies after the scene. Back to Azama to finish the quest. You will get a new Poundmaster - Hanayama.

Chapter 7

Substory 20 - Table for One

At the night, visit the Wette kitchen's second floor. After the scenes, win the fight. Move a bit further from this location until you can continue with the quest. Your next goal is at the Bar District on the map. Beat the enemies after the scene and go back in front of the Wette kitchen to finish the quest. You will get Noburu as a recruit.

Substory 21 - 

Initiate this one by approaching the dumpster in the southeast corner of the map. Help the guy out and you will have to go a bit further and back to continue with the quest. Answers here doesn't matter much. Fight with some yakuzas and you will be done with the quest. Shige will be your new recruit.

Substory 22 - 

Start this one by talking to the girl close to the Jinjio Station. Donate any amount, doesn't make a difference. Select the answer which points close to the restaurants. Talk to Megumi in front of the restaurant, select any option. Now follow the pointer in front of the chinese pub, beat the guy and go back to Megumi to finish the quest.

Substory 24 - 

You can find this one in the red light district area, basically to the east of the lower map part. You will have to find the guy, which is shown on the map (he is in the park). 2nd option will give you Intelligence + 10. After that choose that you will fight him and just keep hitting him until the fight ends automatically. You will now need to go to the Poppo store and talk with the girl, then her mother and accept her request. When you go to the map pointer you will need to beat some enemies and that will end the quest. You will get the new Poundmaster.

Substory 25 - 

This one is around the middle of the map. You will now how to visit the marked bar on the map. Select "Stop" and win a fight. Next option is on you:

1st option - Cheerful +10
2nd option - Intelligence +10
3rd option - Cheerful +10

You will now need some water, so find some vending machine with the water (they are cheap) and return the water to your client. Follow the next pointer on the map to continue, call out when asked and beat some guys to finish the quest. You will get a new Poundmaster.

Substory 27 - 

Approach the old woman around the middle of the map. Follow the map pointer to continue with the quest. You will get some Kimchi, which you need to deliever to few people and then at the end to the old woman. You will get her as a new recruit.

Chapter 8

Substory 31 - Like Father, Like Son

This one is in Chinatown in front of the restaurant. Accept the request. Move a bit away until you see the map pointer to continue. Next option is on you:

1st option - Style +10
2nd option - Kindness +10
3rd option - Passion +10

Select any option after this and again move a bit on the map until you can continue. Back to the restaurant, beat some enemies and that is it.

Substory 28 - Tour Guide Turmoil

West side of Hamakita Park. Speak with the Tour Guide and accept and go after the explanation. You will need to step in with some answers:

1st answer is "Red Dragon" (Passion +10), 2nd is "Blue Sign" (Intelligence +10) and last one is "Ultra Packed Super Bun" (Style +10). Now beat the guy and after the scenes you will get Ayami as your next recruit and finish the quest.

Chapter 9

Substory 26 - The Masked Murderer

Initiated close to Isobe Alley during the day. Talk to Eatery Owner. To continue with this story, you need to advance to the night-time.

Substory 23 - Warmest Wishes

Approach Megumi at the Hyakkei St. You need to beat substory 22 for this one to appear. Move a bit until you can continue and talk to Megumi again. Next pointer is to the south of here. Win the fight. Now it gets a bit tricky - you need 1 million yen! I suggest doing the Kappa statuses Part-time Hero challenge, it will grant you 2 millions. After you collect that sum, use taxi to go to the hospital (last option). You will get Megumi as your new Poundmate.

Substory 32 - Forget Me Not

This one is at the Carriage Highway. After some talking, choose "Yeah." to advance. Go to arcade and you need to win a plushy, any is good. If you fail to do so, just buy more tokens. A bit after talking you will need to beat some enemies and soon you will finish the quest.

Substory 29 - The Michio Minefield

You can find this one in Chinatown. After some talking go with "Press the button" and then "Not Now" for Intellect +10. Accept your next task and you need to find correct valid figures. The ones with the sleeves are what you want, so zoom and select only those. After some talks you will finish the quest.

Substory 30 - Fauxno Michio

Just north from the substory 29 in Chinatown and after clearing that one - you can start this one. After some scenes beat the enemies. Enjoy the rest of the scenes and upon finishin the story you will get Hironaka as your new recruit + Ono Michio as new Poundmaster.

Substory 35 - Preparing To Suck

Enter Sesil Cafe to start this story. You need 1 million yen to found the project. I suggest doing the Kappa statuses Part-time Hero challenge, it will grant you 2 millions. Navigate to marked pointer on the map. Select 1st option when prompted. Beat the cleaner mini-boss (destroy his arms first) to finish the quest.

Substory 34 - Bross Till The End

This one is initiated by approaching the motorbike gang at Hamakita Park. Help out the guys. Follow the story marker on the map, beat the enemies in the building and that will be it. After some scenes you will get Taka the Striker Poundmate.
